january!

well, here we are! the last day of january! it's so crazy how fast time can feel sometimes. it just gets faster and faster the older and older i get... wop wop.

this month has been a kind of crazy one, lots and lots of things going on. life doesn't seem to slow down any. so, here is january in a nut shell (aka long post full of pictures)! wee!

new years! i look exhausted, which i guess is a good indication of how i felt about 2014

my sister camilla is getting married in february and i got to come along with her for her bridals/groomals. these are all pics i took on my phone...

that same day, i went with them to finalize the details for their reception! it's gonna be awesome!

these aren't in order really... this was one night last week i had my sis in law Sammi cut my hair. this is me and one of her girlies goofing off!

i was so excited about this i had to document it. gas for 1.69/gal!!!!! i was able to fill my tank for under $30!

the other night vince came home with a delicious surprise!! carmel apples are the best!

went to a bridal shower for camilla! we had to make toilet paper lingerie ... it was awkward. and hilarious. especially since my mom helped us make ours! also, in the pictures of camilla with our creation, i told her to make a sexy face and that is what she gave me!!

we've been trying to eat healthier and this was a good recipe we tried! eggplant pizzas!

so, this is turning in to just a ton of pictures of scouty. oops! i came in to the room one day and found her like this. she's a NUT!

it's been an unseasonably warm winter... so instead of snow, when they weather gets bad its mostly just rain. i love it!

we went shooting and had a blast. i forgot how much i love to do this! plus, it was fun to shoot just random objects/trash we found :)

that night we went on a hike up at Red Reef and it was gorgeous! the weather was so perfect -- cool but not cold. it was awesome.

we also went on a hike to the petrified sand dunes at snow canyon. this picture below makes me chuckle... ashley wanted to lay down and take a nap...

vince started to feel sick the day before we came home. it was a total bummer!

on our drive home it started to rain a little and it made me sad all over again that we had just left beautiful southern utah!

but we were so happy to be reunited with our pup!

my work gave me 6 tickets to a jazz game so we took some buds with us. since we were lower bowl, we were in prime jumbotron seating and we sure lived it up! andrew and laura sure stole the show with their dance moves!

the biggest event of january was that my parents came home from their mission!

we got a storage unit to store some of our stuff (we've moved down to the basement now that my parents are back) and i went the other night by myself to drop off some stuff and it was SPOOKY! i wont be going back by myself, that's for sure.
