vince had the awesome idea the other night that we should put together a summer bucket list to finish out these last few weeks before he goes back to school (HIS VERY LAST SEMESTER EVER!!! can you tell i'm excited?!).so, the next day i printed out a list from pinterest, colored it and added our items!
thursday we crossed off our first item! we went and did the Skyline Drive trail above the 'B' in bountiful. we had so much fun! we will definitely be doing that again!
some funny moments:
-a GIANT moth coming through the open window while we were driving, and the blood curdling scream i let out!
-scout sticking her cute face out the car window the whole time
-me trying to set up my camera on the dash to take video, and duh, having it fall down each time (we were on a bumpy dirt road, mary. come on!)
a crazy moment:
-going down a side trail and almost getting stuck! the trail got really rocky really fast. our pathfinder was a champ, but then it got TOO rocky. i had to get out and direct vince around some rocks so we could get out! what a relief it was when we got out of it, and also that our car survived with only some minor scratches on the running boards.
a favorite moment:
-just being with my two favorites, vince & scout. really, anything with them is fun. i love going on adventures with those two!
